Precise leak localisation by intelligent correlation technology
The LD20HC uses computer-assisted correlation to determine leak positions with maximum precision – even under difficult conditions. Every leak generates a characteristic flow noise that propagates through the pipe network and is recorded at up to three measuring points by highly sensitive sensors. These signals are transmitted by radio to the correlator, which calculates the exact leak position from the time differences, taking into account pipe material, diameter and measuring distance. While conventional electroacoustic methods often reach their limits due to noise, weather or pipe depth, the LD20HC reliably delivers precise results even on long pipeline sections. With German-engineered quality, up to 20 definable pipe sections per measurement, 256 selectable filters, Smart display guidance and the option to connect ground and body microphones for verification and acoustic listening, the LD20HC is the ideal standard solution for professional leak detection in water supply networks.
