Powerful pulse technology for fast and reliable pipeline location
The LD-PULS enables precise pipeline location completely independent of interference from power lines and without the need to shut down the supply. Even non-metallic water pipes can be located up to a depth of two metres using the pressure pulses generated by the device. These vibrations, produced up to sixty times per minute, propagate through the pipeline over distances of up to 600 metres under favourable conditions and can be reliably detected with a ground microphone. This allows pipeline routes to be quickly, safely and accurately recorded, checked or updated.
