Trotec Luminat is the established UV tracer for pipe break and leak detection and is now available in even more colors for even greater application flexibility. This aqueous, water-dilutable dispersion is not metabolized and leaves virtually no visible traces in the normal visible spectrum. Only under UV irradiation at the optimal wavelength do the formaldehyde-free fluorescent pigments develop their maximum, intensely visible fluorescence. In addition to the established Luminat Green, the tracer is also available in Red, Blue, Purple, and Yellow, so users can always choose the ideal color and brightness for every task. Luminat is especially well suited for leak tests on water-bearing layers of flat roofs and for inspecting gullies and downpipes, where exit points can be clearly visualized under UV light. Further applications include non-destructive testing (NDT) and leak detection wherever capillary action is irrelevant and no visible traces of the UV tracer should remain. Luminat is not suitable for use as a food dye.
