The BE44 True RMS current clamp is a robust, professionally equipped measuring instrument for electricians, craftsmen, service technicians and ambitious DIY users. It enables safe, contactless measurement of AC current up to 1,000 A by simply enclosing the conductor – without switching off systems and without direct contact, thanks to galvanic isolation. In addition, the BE44 measures DC and AC voltages up to 1,000 V, resistance, frequency and duty cycle, making it ideal for applications ranging from building installations to automotive electrics. The True RMS function ensures accurate measurement results even with distorted, non-sinusoidal signals caused by modern consumers such as switch-mode power supplies or controllers. A backlit 1.8-inch LCD display, HOLD and MIN/MAX functions, bar graph indicator, continuity and diode test, integrated LED work light, and automatic switch-off round off the professional feature set – for reliable, precise and safe measurements in everyday practice.
