Certified KRL measurement – fast, reliable and without chemicals

The KRL measuring chamber CRH100 from Trotec enables a simple, reliable and certified residual moisture measurement in mineral screeds for the readiness-for-covering test according to the KRL method (certified by the TKB). Specially designed for use with the T3000 multifunction measuring device and the TS 230 SDI climate sensor, the CRH100 is also compatible with third-party sensors with a diameter of 12 mm. The KRL method is a user-friendly alternative to conventional procedures and determines the relative humidity (KRL) of a chisel sample as a dependable indicator of screed moisture – even if the exact material type is unknown. No weighing of material and no chemicals such as calcium carbide are required, eliminating typical sources of error. By using several CRH100 chambers in parallel, users can test multiple samples at the same time and save valuable time, making the readiness-for-covering check significantly faster, simpler and more efficient.
