Find hidden ferromagnetic objects – fast, precise and in any environment
The MD200 magnetometer is the ideal tool for quickly and reliably locating covered ferromagnetic objects such as valve caps and rods, hydrants, manhole and tank covers, as well as marker nails or magnets hidden under soil, asphalt, snow or water. Ready for use just seconds after switching on, this lightweight and ergonomically designed device allows fatigue-free operation without complex measuring or excavation. Thanks to its rugged ABS housing, waterproof probe rod and dirt- and water-resistant keypad, the MD200 delivers precise results even under the harshest conditions – from blazing heat to freezing cold, in snow or even under water. Ferromagnetic objects can be detected at depths of up to three metres, with the proximity clearly indicated by a backlit display, bar graph and an acoustic signal that increases as you approach the target. Using its highly sensitive multi-coil technology, the MD200 reacts to the smallest changes in the earth’s magnetic field, enabling exact localisation by simply sweeping the area and comparing signal peaks.
