With the easy-to-use BM12, you can measure wood and building moisture in just seconds. The easily replaceable steel probe pins ensure a secure contact with the test material and thus provide precise and reliable measurement results. Thanks to two selectable measurement modes, the BM12 can be set either for measuring the moisture content of cut and firewood or for determining building moisture in soft building materials such as gypsum, plaster or screed.
In addition to material moisture, the device also measures the ambient temperature, which can be displayed in either °C or °F. An automatic shut-off function ensures long battery life by switching the device off after approximately two minutes of inactivity.
For wood moisture measurement, a calibration curve for common European wood species is already stored in the device, so no further settings are required to determine the moisture content quickly and conveniently.
