Reliable moisture measurement with clear, dual-scale display
The robust and easily replaceable steel pin probes of the BM22 ensure a secure contact with the test material and provide reliable measurement results when determining the moisture content of sawn and firewood or measuring material moisture in soft building materials such as gypsum, plaster or screed.
A bar graph scale and the additional direct display of the moisture content in absolute percentage values make the readings particularly easy to interpret, while two different scale ranges for wood and building materials increase measurement accuracy.
For wood moisture measurement, a calibration curve based on the average of wood species relevant in Europe at a wood temperature of 20 °C is already stored in the device. This means no further settings are required for a quick and reliable indication of wood moisture.
There is no need to switch between wood and building moisture modes with the BM22, as the measured values are shown simultaneously on two parallel scale ranges for the respective materials. In addition, a reference adapter is integrated into the protective cap for easy battery status and function checking.
