Detect what you can’t hear – the SL3000 ultrasound detector

When water or air escapes under pressure, it generates sound waves that propagate through materials as structure-borne sound – including ultrasound, which is inaudible to the human ear. The SL3000 captures these ultrasonic signals and converts them into audible sound, while simultaneously displaying the signal level both numerically and via a clear bar indicator for precise and reliable localisation.

The SL3000 is ideal for preventive maintenance as well as for locating faults and leaks in exposed pressure pipes and fittings, mechanical bearings and electrical components. When used together with an optional ultrasonic transmitter, it can also be employed to test pressureless systems such as window and door frames, making the SL3000 a versatile and powerful tool for professional inspection and condition monitoring.
