Tailored Gas Safety Solution
The APM is a highly adaptable system designed to cater for your unique requirements. Analox engineers have future-proofed the design, ensuring it will remain compliant even as regulations evolve. Whether it operates as a standalone unit or seamlessly integrates with a platform management system (like the Analox DAMS), the APM swiftly detects gas hazards in the vicinity empowering the crew to take immediate action.
Temperature compensated sensors
The APM has been designed to be a trusted solution for submarines and surface ships, operating in temperatures from 0°C to +45°C (+32°F to +113°F). Equipped with Pressure Sync temperature-compensated sensors, rest assured that your Analox APM won’t trigger false alarms, no matter how the onboard temperature or pressure fluctuates.
This applies to both single and dual APM units:
- Single or dual display
- 2 x 1A Cartridge fuses
- Mounting bracketsFront
- Breather
- Power input (24Vdc)
- Single to PLC (MODBUS)
- Volt free contact (Optional)
- Sample inlet (6mm OD)
- Earth stud
- Sample exhaust (6mm OD)

Industries that use the APM for atmosphere monitoring
Whether you find yourself on the surface of the sea or way under it, you require continuous, reliable atmosphere monitoring to ensure safety of all those onboard.
Already the premier gas monitoring and safety source for the defense community worldwide, Analox Group has recently launched the APM (Atmosphere Protection Module) providing submariners with an easy and effective way to monitor up to 2 gasses which offer immediate local notification of gas hazards with the built in option for remote notifications.
APM Legislation
- MIL-STD-740-2 Structure Borne Noise
- MIL-STD-167-1A Vibration
- RoHS
- MIL-S-901D Shock
- MIL-STD-461G EMC
- CE & UKCA
Gas monitoring with the APM
The Analox Team of engineers understand the challenges for our defense customers along with the various compliances we must adhere to. The APM has been designed utilizing all of this knowledge and to ensure it offers life saving accuracy, notifying the crew in the immediate area of hazards, helping to protect their safety.
APM Dual Pumped Sensor
The R134a detector is designed to constantly sample the local atmosphere and monitor for R134a & O2 gasses, indicating when concentrations reach alarm levels, or a fault is detected.
APM Dual Pumped Sensor
The dual CO2 & O2 detector is designed to constantly sample the local atmosphere and monitor for CO2 & O2 gasses, indicating when concentrations reach alarm levels, or a fault is detected
APM Pumped Sensor
The O2 detector is designed to constantly sample the local atmosphere and monitor for O2 gasses, indicating when concentrations reach alarm levels, or a fault is detected.
